Fashion marketers are responsible for making people want to buy clothing. They promote and market clothing lines and styles. They develop price strategies and marketing campaigns to help maximize the profits of a particular clothing line or fashion retail chain. They may also oversee the actual development of fashion products and monitor trends that might show a new need for a clothing product or accessory.

Fashion marketers generally need an associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree in fashion marketing, fashion merchandising, or business administration. They also need a very keen sense of style and the ability to sense new fashion and clothing trends that may be arising in their consumers, because they can ensure that their products meet these trends and increase profits.
