Grand Opening Contest Winners Announced!

We asked for your funniest images and objective statements. We asked for you to send the most traffic possible to your profiles. And you responded! Of course, the possibility of winning free Apple products had something to do with it. Well, the entries have been reviewed and the winners have been decided upon. Let’s get this party started right…

Grand Prize Winner: Andrew Freeman – iPad2

Andrew drove approximately 7,529 pageviews to his profile page (his freakishly long tongue had something to do with it, no doubt). We will be following up with Andrew later this week to find out what he will do with his new iPad2. Congrats!

Funniest Image Winner: Nathan Holt – iPod Touch

Our profile ranged from weird to just plain puzzling, but Nathan’s image was the only one that made us laugh out loud. In fact, it has a 100% laugh-out-loud rate here in our office (go on, look at it and see if you can keep from laughing). For this, Nathan wins the iPod Touch. Before we start musing on what those kids must be gawking at up there, let’s move on…

Funniest Objective: Riley Weber – iPod Touch

Instead of telling how funny this one was, we figured we’d just put it up for all to see. Here it is…
“My objective is to earn the distinct and lucky position of “The 7th Greatest Boss in the Southwest Region of the Lower Part in the Eastern Half of the upper 2/3rd’s corner of the continental United States, all above the 35th longitudinal North line but not exceeding the 40th degree line”.

After spending 6 “high quality” years exiled in a foreign prison off the coast of Estonia, I have become specially trained and qualified in many useful fields such as endangered balloon animal twisting, custom license plate making, mini rodent taxidermy, food rationing, star gazing, day dreaming, Swedish meditation, bird watching and imitating, toothpick art (I nearly finished building the first deck of the Chicago Cubs Stadium), beginner mime, 3-trick magician, some mad social skills, and I would be able to contribute all of these powerful abilities and many more as your future boss.

If you are part of a company with no fewer than 50 employees, I am your man; and whom you can proudly call your future boss.”

Thanks to everyone who participated! Come back often as we’ll have more contests and free giveaways. Let us know if you have any ideas for our next contest!
